예고와 미대에서 서양화를 전공하며, 다양한 그룹전 참여와 아트 스페이스 전시 경험을 기반으로 사물과 감정 및 공간의 보이지 않는 흐름을 회화로 번역하는 초기 작업들을 해왔습니다.​

졸업 전시에서는 동양 철학에 대한 탐구를 현대적 회화로 재해석하는 작업을 선보였으며​, 이 철학적 기반은 지금의 추상 회화에 이어져 빛의 유기적 흐름과 색이 가진 감정을 통해 내면의 감정을 표현합니다.

최근 작업들은 내면 속 빛나는 희망의 빛을 작품 속 금빛으로 표현하며, 일상 속 공간에 평온하고 따스한 감정을 전하는 색들을 겹겹이 쌓아 입체감 있게 표현합니다.

작품은 단순히 벽을 채우는 개체가 아니라, 공간과 그 안에 머무는 사람의 감정, 빛, 삶의 흐름과 연결 된 예술이라고 믿습니다.

저의 작업은 실제로 다양한 공간의 기운/컬러 톤/목적과 조화를 고려하며 작업을 진행하고 있으며,

이를 통해 단순한 미술품을 넘어서서

'공간의 분위기와 정서를 변화시키는 하나의 에너지'로서 탄생합니다.

Abstract painting exploring the serenity of light and color

​Artistic Statement

With a background in Western painting from an arts magnet high school and Ewha Womans University, my early works focused on translating subtle emotions, objects, and the unseen flow of space into visual language. Through various group exhibitions and art space showcases, I explored how paint can reveal both tangible form and invisible energy.

 

For my graduation thesis and exhibition, I reinterpreted Eastern philosophy through a contemporary painting approach. This conceptual foundation continues into my current abstract work, where layers of color and light express inner rhythm and emotional movement.

 

My recent series highlights luminous gold elements, symbolizing quiet hope and inner radiance. Each piece captures warmth, tranquility, and the gentle accumulation of colors—an offering of peace and presence within everyday living spaces.

I believe art is not merely an object placed on a wall, but a presence that interacts with space—shaping emotion, light, and the rhythm of the life lived within it.

 

Each piece is created with consideration for energy, color atmosphere, and the intended character of a space. Through this approach, the artwork becomes more than a visual statement: it becomes an energetic shift—transforming the mood, harmony, and emotional resonance of the environment it enters.
